Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Development Co., Ltd, founded in 1992, is the leading manufacturer of Chinese Engineering Machinery in the equipment manufacturing industry, and it is also one of the first innovative enterprises in China.

Zoomlion has been identified by the Chinese Department of Science and Technology as the organization that will undertake three national science and technology support programs as part of the "11th Five-Year Plan". Zoomlion also leads the way in implementing the CE Certification according to EU standards in the domestic construction machinery industry, and acquired the Russian GOST Korea Safety certifications.

In 2009, Zoomlion ranked Top 10 in the global construction machinery industry, and 6th in China's Top 100 Construction Machinery Industry. Zoomlion ranks first in profits in the Chinese construction machinery industry and remains ahead of others in terms of comprehensive performance in Shanghai and Shenzhen listed companies. It is listed in the China Top 500 and China Top 50 Construction Machinery Industry.
