I worked on a team that was writing an Elixir app responsible for 1) receiving videos from the Company app, 2) transcoding those videos into different "derivatives" (e.g. HLS, Iphone, and various sizes/bitrates), and 3) serving those videos. I also worked on a side project during the summer for the company-- a resiliency tool called "Chaos Lenny". This was a scheduled tool to intentionally fail individual process and report on them to improve and display certain edge cases in stability.
