Employed by the Department of Chemistry within the LASIR lab at 4D Labs. Solely responsible for automation and data acquisition programming in the implementation of a time domain – surface sensitive sum-frequency generation spectroscopy experiment using pump-probe methodology. Assisted in brainstorming and improving experiments, and aided other researchers with programming.

Topic: Development of a real time control system for a modular surgical robot to support revision total hip endoprosthetic interventions. Programming embedded control algorithms in MATLAB / Simulink to be employed over a Control Area Network using the CANopen protocol. Further user interface development and rapid control design in dSPACE. Programming of EPOS2 motion controllers. Documentation of all design, programming and final outcome in the thesis work.

Involved in constitutive modeling of soft biological tissues. Optimization programming, successfully implementing genetic and downhill-simplex algorithms. English proof reading for dissertations and research paper publications.

Conducted lab experiments in multi-photon-polymerization (MPP). Micro-structuring from polymer solution. Programmed the robotic control program and user interface for the MPP station in LabVIEW. English proof reading for research paper publications.

Quality control and testing of breathing systems and portable gas sensors. Following test protocols and programming the equipment for automated testing at controlled temperatures and gas concentrations. Creating written and video reports of results and failures.

Development of a gas concentration and temperature control system, including data processing of a test bed for power plant catalytic converters. Data acquisition and controls programmed and documented in LabVIEW. Drafting of the building layout and pipelines in AutoCAD for permit applications.
