As a part of Advanced Simulations group, I am involved in developing models and methods for optimizing product design using CAE tools. For example: -FEA of rubber mounts for evaluating stiffness characteristics and structural durability -FEA of entire fluid lines for evaluation of their structural durability, modal and dynamic characteristics -Scripting and GUI programming for creating in-house tools and plugins for automated geometry, mesh and model generation and post-processing

Master Thesis | Topic : Implementation of user-defined functions into a CFD tool and prediction of pressure and temperature evolution in a cryogenic upper stage propellant tank during typical mission scenario. | Task : Geometry and meshing in Ansys Gambit, programming of user-defined functions for implementing multi-component real gas properties and evaporation-condensation model in C, CFD analysis in Ansys Fluent, post-processing in GnuPlot.

Studienarbeit at Inst. of Chemical and Thermal Process Engineering Topic: ’Numerical simulation of detachment particles on and off surfaces’ Implemented user-defined functions for dynamic meshing in CFD tool Ansys Fluent. Also undertook several projects at Institutes of Fluid Mechanics (ISM), Internal Combustion Engines (IVB), Engineering Design (IFK) Tasks included programming for compressor blade gometry generation, CFD analysis of fluid flow in IC engine cylinder and FE analysis of robotic arm.
