My role as a checkout sales assistance is to assist customers in a friendly manner offering great service and to help them overcome any problems or complaints they may have with any products or services. I am trained on checkout tills, self service, tesco direct desk and customer service. This involves dealing with lottery and cigarettes and managing up to £500 at a time. I also assist my team leaders in counting money and refilling cash into the tills.
