• Lead a team of 5 engineers to work on EVERA’s Battery Swapping Station for Tesla cars across Dubai. • Designed and delivered a full CAD model for the battery swapping station along with the verified cost model and is breakdown for the system and its components. • Started an internship program throughout EVERA for university students from UAE and Egypt. Recruited a total of 10 interns; 3 mechanical engineering students and 7 architects to work on the station’s exterior design.

• Worked at the Materials Degradation Characterization Laboratory on a project entitled “Nondestructive Evaluation of Advanced Structural Composite Materials”. • Conducted experimental tests on several composite materials using different ultrasound techniques and setups (pulse echo and pitch catch techniques). • Conducted a finite element analysis for the flow of lamb waves through the very thick plates.

• Designed an efficient body shell of a solar powered vehicle with SolidWorks. • Built a fiberglass body for the solar car and converted the hybrid car to be solar-powered. • Lead a team of four that was responsible for getting the necessary funds and represents the team. Raised a total fund of $20,000 and got featured in 7 TV shows representing the team. • Built and assembled a hybrid-electric race vehicle, to participate in the national race with over 13 other teams (won 3 prized out of 10)

• Coordinated a team of three and conducted a full design for the magnetic braking system for the hyperloop pod for the only hyperloop team in the middle east region. The final design was represented in full detailed technical report. • Conducted a finite element model for the brakes permanent magnets in halbach configuration using Ansys Maxwell. • Built a test rig for the braking system and contributed to the manufacturing of the fiberglass body of the pod.

• Completed a vehicle communications architecture analysis using the information available in proprietary embedded .c files. The final analysis was presented in a Google Docs spreadsheet and is currently being used to help provide the features available in the Voyomotive automotive advanced telematics products. • Executed detailed test plans to validate embedded software, mobile iOS software, and web software for Voyomotive automotive advanced telematics products.

• Designed (DFM) a test rig with SolidWorks to help hold the car doors taking into consideration the convenience of the technicians and the six sigma principals to reduce the time of the assembly process.
