The thesis is considered for enhancing the capacity utilization of sea freight containers. The methodology that has been applied in this project focuses on applying lean six-sigma methodology in order to define the main affecting factors and make a statistical analysis on the measurable factors to proof the correlation between the factors and the low utilization, a DMAIC model has been provided as well in this study with all required tools.
