Alessandro Ziggiotti

I’m responsible for laboratory activity on sheet metal release and I’m leading the activity of continuous improvements for sheet metals components. I organize the rational workflow for homologation and characterization of steel, aluminum and magnesium-based materials, with continuous update and improvement of the related internal standards. I also follow the applied research and lead four European funded projects, by managing the work with projects partners from industry and university

Within this period, I led public funded projects and internal innovation projects in the field of fuel economy, focusing on the materials and the system integration on-board-vehicle. I developed 1D-3D models for the heat exchange and fluid dynamics, with wide experience in the use of CFD - Computational Fluid Dynamics with ANSYS Fluent software. In the same period I was responsible of the chemical laboratory that supported the research activities, in compliance with ISO 9001 quality standard
