Take advantage of the experience in both departments (Design and Projects) and apply it in a new team/concept: • Take on complete projects including design • Willing in customer contact and travelling (eg to troubleshoot, assist sales etc) • To act as a rapid deplyment force, helping out both the TB and projects when they are overloaded • Support projects in the quotation phase with quotes and drawings

• Work closely with design and manufacturing departments in order to propose a valve type or solution for the customers; • Preparation of quotations in response to agent and end customer enquiries; • Pricing and costing calculations; • Produce project plans (e.g. MS project) for complex valve solutions; • Manage order acceptance and implementation with the design office, purchasing, manufacturing and external suppliers; • Carry out post project cost and profitability analysis

Work closely with the sales and project engineers to enable a good understanding of the customer process or valve requirements • Prepare the necessary dimension, process, and physical valve characteristics calculations • Create design drawings for diverse valve parts and valve variants • Analyse part or valve deficiencies and contribute to the companies Quality Improvement Program • Propose improvements to existing valve designs • Work on International design projects as required
