My role as a software engineer at Burg F.W. Lüling comprises a wide scope of responsibilities. Most of the time automated test systems play a major role. These systems have various interfaces to ensure comprehensive testing of the DUT. After testing each test is archived in a database for full traceability. Additionally I am doing automation manual workflows and developing embedded software.
My scope of work covered the development and enhancement of an EOL tester. It was very teasing because i gained lots of experience with many sensor interfaces, for example Powerlink, EtherNet/IP, Ethercat, CAN and others. I enjoyed working with databases and multithreading systems.
