Creative Director / Head of Design, Content & Production
As the head of three departments - Design, Content Online/Offline and Content Marketing, photoshoots, and Production (operational control) - I lead a team of 35 employees including art directors, fashion editors, content managers, and project managers. Through a project I led and developed, we rethought and revamped the company's marketing approach, moving away from traditional silo structures towards a more flexible work style that is now the standard for marketing at the company.
Initially responsible for all digital design, SEO, and content marketing with a team of 10 employees, I worked to execute 360° campaigns across digital touchpoints and developed Breuninger's online shop by creating an editorial content touchpoint to showcase their fashion expertise. I was also heavily involved in the development of the company's overall strategy and initiatives, working closely with Bain & Company to ensure alignment with broader goals.
As the lead digital designer for the dm-drogerie markt client, I was responsible for developing digital campaigns across various product categories and for creating webspecials for various dm own brands. I was able to scale the team from 7 to 22 art directors within 4 years, in addition to team mgmt and development. One of my successful projects was the launch of the dmAsia project on the Alibaba platform Tmall, where I was responsible for the UI and UX and onboarded the art directors team in Taiwan.
Designed the first e-commerce user interface and experience for "dm-drogerie markt / dm.de", in close collaboration with front-end developers and information architects. In addition to this, my responsibilities included presenting designs, pitching ideas to the client, and developing a strategy for migrating existing content. It was launched in July 2015. Responsible for the disciplinary and professional leadership of 7 art directors.

Founder and Associate
HOCHBURG Design
Starting as a small collective of four designers, we made the decision to start our own design agency. We began by offering advertising materials for events of all sizes and developing web presences for small businesses. As the business grew, I took on the role of building up our digital competencies and expanding our range of digital services. Within just three years, we were able to grow our team to 13 members and secure a major client, Elring Klinger AG.
Redesign of the e-commerce service agency Commerce Connector, including the creation of a photo concept for the website's content. I also worked on the further development of the user interface and experience for the Leitz online shop, including all sub-pages and webspecials, as well as the Weleda online shop and webspecials. In addition, I continued work on existing pages for the Dr. Pepper internet presence.
Worked closely with BB&K Oberhausen, Ludwigsburg, and Munich locations as a specialist for digital activities. Created wireframes, UX and UI, prototypes, and click dummies for various projects and clients, E-Learning for Porsche and Hugo Boss, a webspecial for Porsche Design, an HR portal for Puma, Telekom.com redesign and career portal redesign, Vodafone.de customer area redesign, ThyssenKrupp webspecials and online marketing, Boerse Stuttgart redesign and om, and R+V Versicherung E-Learning.
Involved in a wide range of tasks related to visual communication, including developing key visuals, creating storyboards for motion designs, and revising presentations. These tasks required a combination of artistic and technical skills, as well as an understanding of the client's needs and objectives. I enjoyed the challenge of working on diverse projects and delivering high-quality work that met the client's expectations.
Creation of a confidential pitch project that conceptually developed a user interface with a gamification approach. It was important to create a highly interconnected customer journey that made sense in different directions. This required careful planning and attention to detail to ensure the smooth execution of the project. In addition to my regular responsibilities, I also took on screen design tasks for the BMW client.
Booked for a confidential pitch for a major client where my task consisted of developing wireframes and a complete interface design, including a mobile version. It was important to keep the pitch confidential and to deliver high-quality designs that met the client's needs and expectations.
