Oversee the analysis and validation of all financial reporting and lead on-site financial reviews for each country business unit. Direct forecasting, operating and capital expense tracking (1000M$) and provide expert executive counsel through the budget process. Coordinate the monthly financial report to the Board of Directors and provide in-depth financial analysis of business impact to long-range strategic plans.

Ensure a complete and consistent financial information process within PMI and provide decision support to the executive management to enhance growth opportunities through evaluation of market dynamics, modeling alternatives and analysis of financial implications.

 Manages global consolidated COGS activity totaling €860M; active member on Sourcing Council, advising through new product introductions and transfers as well as profitability analysis and forecasting.  Plans and facilitates business scenario changes in compliance with enterprise model for Switzerland legal entity.

 Handled budgeting and forecasting for Switzerland legal entity, providing variance reporting and monitoring €650M in net sales and €80M EBIT.

 Headed budgeting, forecast reporting, cash flow planning, collections, credit, and invoicing for region spanning Colombia, Perú, Ecuador, and Venezuela.  Led 12+ direct reports for Healthcare division with €113M in net sales and €20M EBIT comprising pharmaceutical, consumer care, animal health, and diabetes care segments.

 Orchestrated banking selection and relations process, facilitating survey to compare banks and services; reorganized relationships, enabling higher service levels and lowering expenses $25K.  Directed foreign exchange initiatives in accordance with government currency exchange controls.

 Established company’s foreign exchange policies, enabling registration with the government’s Currency Control Authorities for favorable rates on material imports.  Oversaw four-member team; administered cash management, forecasting, and banking relationships.

 Headed 10-member team through accounts payable, accounts receivable, foreign exchange, and cash management operations; handled bank negotiations to stimulate cash flow and lower debt.

 Managed budget preparation and forecasting as well as open position monthly reporting and closed position settlement for two operating entities of this state-owned holding company; coordinated yearly external audits.  Co-developed and rolled-out risk management system for trading offices in Venezuela, Texas, and Oklahoma.
