Achieves desired results in Quality by diagnosing, designing, implementing, then insuring division’s processes, practices and procedures are fully and consistently adhered within the plant by working directly with all plant personnel including sales, design, customer service, planning, manufacturing and shipping/delivery. Directs the Quality Management System at the plant. Effectively consults with and presents quality programs and solutions to all levels of the plant’s internal and external customers.

Investigate, analyze and resolve supplier quality problems by conducting audits, analyzing defect trends and lead continuous improvement projects. Work with Purchasing to ensure supplier performance is regularly reported and that appropriate and timely corrective​​ actions are implemented. Monitor, communicate and improve key supply chain KPI's, including Supplier OTD (Past due), Quality and Service. Review and approve PPAP documentation. Create and manage inspection plans for Incoming Inspection.

Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database. Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions;
