Mainly responsible for simulations and research in the field of channel coding for free space optical communications.

Evaluating and designing of low-density parity-check codes for free space communications. Continued the work with my master thesis, which focuses on probabilitic shaping for on-off keying modulation over additive white gaussian noise channels.

Worked as a tutor for the Image and Video Compression Laboratory at Technische Universität München. The job consisted in assisting students with the experiments, whose final purpose was to design a hybrid video codec.

Worked on comparing two software products for post-processing satellite data, namely RTKLIB and GrafNav. The data was collected by using an antenna and a GPS receiver. Further synchronization was needed, and a tachymeter was used for getting reference positions.
