Literature search and state of the art report on mmWaves and localization algorithms. Implementation of a selected localization algorithms in Matlab/Python. Simulations and performance evaluation for selected application scenarios. Performance analysis with regards to multipath, shadowing, etc.

Link level simulation and CSI reporting for 5G communication systems. Implementation of a link level simulator based on latest 3GPP Release 15 New Radio (NR) system specification in Matlab. Elaboration of a novel approach to reduce the feedback overhead for CSI reporting at FR2. Evaluation of CSI reporting at mmWave frequencies by means of the implemented link level simulator.

Operationally holds ownership, manage and fix all critical Incidents occurring in customer’s network and making required escalations when required. Manages and coordinates activities across all technology domains, multiple resolver groups and across all 3rd parties during critical issues, for quicker resolution and restoration of services. Minimizes impact of incidents on customer experience. Keep different management levels updating regularly to ease decision taking.

The study programme focuses on communications and signal processing. The courses provide detailed insight into communication technologies from the physical to the application layer. problems in radio propagation, hardware and algorithm design, protocols and applications are treated in class as well.

The programme aims to provide students with analytical skills and an understanding of the fundamentals of communication and information processing, random signal analysis, applications of digital signal processing, antennas, information theory, and coding theory.
