Allan Ray Mabborang

Working as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the areas of sample/prototype builds and series production of multiple automotive and industrial displays. Main role includes designing and fabricating fixtures and jigs to meet the process and production requirements such as functionality, usability and product quality. Had recently assigned as NPI Engineer which facilitates the transition from development to production including tasks such as process optimization and production line preparation.

Assigned as Design engineer for Laser printer projects. The work includes designing and developing mechanical parts for the scanner integrating module including plastic covers, metal frames, PCB enclosures, access covers and UI parts. Provided solid models and technical drawings for each components and assemblies using NX. Spearheaded the prototype builds and module testings. Responsible for the development of four (4) laser printer projects.

The role was to design and develop three various vibratory compaction rollers by providing solid models, design computations and technical drawings while evaluating test results and cost impacts. The design is consists of plastic, sheetmetal, weldment and rubber parts. Assigned as Project Leader of a cross functional team overseeing the costing, prototype builds, parts procurement and machine testing. The role also provided support on the assembly line for existing models and initiated cost reductions.
