Amal Al Balushi

Working for the national English radio (90.4), I co-hosted the live morning show “Jump Start” on weekdays. I received training in sound engineering and sound softwares (Netia + Auditon) and edited soundbites and shows. Additionally researched and produced in-depth coverage for “Headlights”. I started off as an intern for a year before being promoted to research and teaching assistant. I prepared lecture materials and organised classes, Handled one-on-one consultations with students, graded coursework, and Assisted in research development, documentation and publication. Additionally, I created my individual research topic on women's perspectives in public spaces and took part in and presented at international conferences.
