As a School Counselor, I have advised and counseld students regarding academic, educational, and short-term social and emotional problems. I have remaind universally accessible and made an effort to know every student for whom I was responsible. I have provided individual student planning and implemented responsive services to support students and their families regarding academic matters and also and everything related to psychological and educational counseling.

While being a student, I’ve had the opportunity to meet mental health specialists and participate in various procedures such as diagnosing and treating patients. As an intern, I had to study pharmacological products used in treating various mental health disorders (e.g., depression). Alongside my supervisor, I had the opportunity to conduct interviews.

As an intern I had the opportunity to use and understand various psychological tests (e.g., Praga, Toulouse, VRM, TAC, WAIS, WISC, Stanford Binet Intelligence Scales). While studying there I had to interpret scores (norm-referenced scores), review questions used in counselling and provide future directions for investigation based on the nature of the individual’s problem.
