Head of Consumer Imaging marketing with responsibilities in product management (hardware and services), trade marketing (customer and channel), digital marketing (web, CRM and Social), market intelligence and ATL/BTL planning. Coordination of external agencies for: communication, digital services, field marketing, advertising. The team is composed of 15 people, with four direct reports. Strong bond with sales channel partners while keeping steady contacts with Canon HQ in London.

After the closing of the ‘one marketing Canon’ era, I was in charge of CIG Trade Marketing in connection with commercial channels; I specifically managed the activities related to the Retailers channel and indirect sales channels. The team was composed of six people. I also managed, through an external agency, a team of eight ambassadors, 13 specialists and hundreds promoters that supported all sell out activities on consumer channels.

I took the responsibility to integrate the functions of Trade Marketing in connection with commercial channels. I specifically managed the activities related to the Retailers channel, indirect sales channel, direct sales channel. I also had the responsibility of the Market Business Development, market research and CRM. I was also responsible of Marketing Communication in charge of ATL, BTL, Events, PR and Web activities. The team was composed of 13 people with four direct reports.

I had the responsibility to develop a new European project dedicated mainly to indirect IT resellers (1400 dealers). The organization consisted of a Sales Manager, seven Account Managers, two Key Account Managers and a Channel Operations Manager; in February 2009, five telesales also started operating. During this period, I achieved excellent results in terms of revenue growth, number of partners and strengthening of the Trade program.

At the request of top Japanese management, I came back to the company to develop the MR channel, in terms of sales network, management processes, enhancing customer portfolio and results; I managed five Key Account Managers, 20 agents (to cover around 300 hypermarkets) and a Channel Operations Manager for account planning and forecasting. In 3 years I have doubled the turnover, increased the market share and significantly improving customer relationships.
