Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Mathematics. His work focuses on the efficiency of software systems to address the increasing resource and energy demands of software and data centers.

Andreas is founder and owner of RETIT GmbH. RETIT solutions help you to predict the performance of your enterprise applications for future scenarios based on your existing APM data. The performance in future scenarios, such as workload changes (e.g., seasonal peaks) or hardware environment changes (e.g., cloud migrations) can be predicted and evaluated without the need for expensive tests.

Advisory IT Specialist (IBM L1 Certified IT Specialist) helping companies to successfully develop, deploy and manage solutions based on IBM products like: WebSphere Portal, WebSphere Application Server, IBM Connections and IBM Web Content Manager by bridging the gap between the IBM-internal product development teams and customer projects.

As Software Engineer / Technical Lead in the WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and WebSphere Portal development teams, I was responsible for the portletcontainer component in WAS 7.0 and its integration into WebSphere Portal 6.1. Initiated the development of a tool to support the management of WebSphere Portal based infrastructures, which later became known as Configuration Manager for WebSphere Portal (CM4WP).

Developed the Bluetooth support (using JSR 82) for "a management layer for mobile peer-to-peer massive multiplayer games " (Aorta: http://spiedigitallibrary.org/proceedings/resource/2/psisdg/5684/1/158_1?isAuthorized=no)

Developed a JBoss based Portal to support the process alignment between IAV and their clients (e.g. BMW, VW, Audi: http://www.iav.com/de/3_unternehmen/kunden.php).

During this internship we've developed a proof of concept for a "Dynamic Infrastructure for WebSphere Portal".

Teaching school children how to use Windows, MS Office and other common computer programs.
