Driving change and transformation of how STG went to market and enabling the Region Teams to adopt new programs by moving from a brand-based to a client-needs-based way of marketing was the major task at hand. At the same point in time I had to govern and secure the STG brand identity.

    Leading a cross business unit HW brand team I improved the position of IBM in the AP markets and gained share of the rapidly growing low end server, storage and application market, that was primarily business partner led. Marketing with and through distributors and resellers as well as to end users was critical to success and mandated orchestrating the Systems & Technology brands along with the channels organization and telesales in order to match the markets’ needs.

    I led the transformation of the business-to-consumer units for a globally operating Electronics Company as part of their "Market Driven Company" project. The B2C side of the business contained the Digital Media unit with all the consumer electronics products, the Digital Appliance unit with the white goods products and the Telecommunication Network unit with the mobile phones. The primary focus for an end-to-end transformation was on the DM and DA units and included pilots in the Americas and Europe.
