Zudem bin ich auch für L3 Support für SAP Kunden auf Lenovo Servern und DSS-G Kunden verantwortlich. Ich berichte direkt in das HQ in Raleigh, North-Carolina, und bin verantwortlich für die Zusammenarbeit mit den weltweit verteilten Funktionen und unsere Partner. Last but not least bin ich Hauptansprechpartner für die SAP für Development-Themen mit Lenovo.

Ich leite das Entwicklungsteam, das SAP HANA auf IBM System x portiert. Weitere Verantwortlichkeiten umfassen SAP Business Warehouse Accelerator (BWA), SAP Landscape Virtualization Manager (SAP LVM, eine Cloud Lösung von SAP für SAP Landschaften) und SAP NetWeaver sowie SAP Business Suite auf Linux on IBM System x sowie L3 Support mit einem weltweit verteilten Team (Follow the Sun).

Ich leite mehrere Entwicklungsteams der IBM bei der SAP. Zu meiner Verantwortung gehören: SAP on System z Business Continuity (Hochverfügbarkeit) SAP BW on System z SAP Landscape Virtualization Manager (SAP LVM, eine Cloud Lösung von SAP für SAP Landschaften) Linux on System z für SAP (u.a. Zertifizierung) Linux on Power (LoP) SAP Production Services für System z und LoP (Qualitätssicherung)

Team leader in IBM SAP International Competency Center (ISICC) for SAP on System z. Our responsibilities include worldwide technical Sales support, customer executives briefings, writing key references and whitepapers, content delivery for technical marketing, and Sales and Business Partner support via ISICC InfoService.

Team lead to the SAP on System z test team (SAP Production Services), where I gained profound experience in leading a mixed team (IBM&SAP), Installation and Upgrade of SAP systems including sanity check after test completion. Team lead for SAP CCMS (database DB2 for z/OS monitoring and administration component) development. Additionally, I had worldwide SAP development support on weekends and gained experience with handling critical customer problems incl. performance tuning and error analysis. Lab advocate for a number of critical customers. I provided supervision and guidance to dev team in Toronto. Author to several publications, incl. SAP ADM530 class "SAP NetWeaver on DB2 UDB for z/OS: Database Administration"

Right from the start in IBM (10/2000) I've been involved in SAP on System z.
