Did my PhD on ultrashort laser science at the Max Born Institute. I was excited by setting up a table top fs-laser system (50 fs, 2 mJ, 1 kHz). Used this system for the generation of x-rays, electron beams, proton beams. Did consulting for a medical laser company beside that.
