Responsible for inventory replenishment and safety stock maintenance for 10 major suppliers into our DC in Milton, ON. $65MM of annual spend with a focus on vendor relations management and process improvement. Achievement: Successfully reduced warehouse inventory levels by 10% within one month as part of a corporate drive. Eliminated the use of paper by converting all vendors from faxing to emailing orders.

Forecasting for 2 DC. KPI for 60 vendors located mostly in the US, Canada and China. Vendor management. RFQ issue. SAP (MM module) material master records setup and maintenance, info records, spend analysis. Process improvement projects. Achievements: Consolidated the supply of paper products resulting in 9% annual cost savings of $10,000, reduced inventory by 15% and increased efficiency. Improved vendors’ compliance to required delivery specifications resulting in minimized receiving errors.
