Dr. Anima Kujur

I am a computational scientist with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Technology and a strong foundation in applied mathematics. My research focuses on deep learning, medical imaging, neural time-series analysis, dynamical systems, Koopman operators, and Dynamic Mode Decomposition. I aim to develop clinically meaningful AI that is accurate, interpretable, reliable, uncertainty-aware, and grounded in biological dynamics.

Conducted research in Medical Image Analysis and Artificial Intelligence with a focus on deep learning methods for biomedical imaging. Worked on segmentation, classification, and multimodal imaging analysis using CNN- and U-Net-based architectures, combining computational methods with clinically relevant applications in medical imaging and healthcare AI.

Conducted motivational and interactive educational sessions across schools and summer camps between 2021–2024, engaging with large groups of students through talks, discussions, and mentorship activities. Focused on inspiring students toward education, personal growth, confidence building, and future career development while fostering open interaction and critical thinking. Strengthened public speaking, leadership, mentorship, and audience engagement skills through extensive student interaction and outreach

Taught mathematics to students in grades 9–12 through both online and offline instruction during the COVID-19 period. Beyond classroom teaching, contributed to student mentoring, academic guidance, and coordination of extracurricular activities including cultural and sports programs. Developed strong communication, leadership, mentoring, classroom management, and problem-solving skills through active engagement with students in diverse learning environments.
