Working as an Marie Curie ITN (International Training Network) Fellow under the guidance and supervision of Prof. Dr. Ralf Erdmann, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Biochemistry and Pathobiochemistry/System Biochemistry, Ruhr University Bochum. . I am biochemically characterizing yeast proteins involved in peroxisome fission using established genetic and biochemical approaches.

Worked as a CSIR - Junior Research Fellow under the guidance of Prof. Anil Grover, Department of Plant Molecular Biology, University of Delhi, South Campus. HSPs interact with sister proteins and other pool of proteins to restore the order in cell. So, I tried to deduce protein-protein interactions (PPI) of the stress responsive proteins in rice and characterized the HSF genes and its regulatory elements at both functional and structural level.

Worked on “Cloning and over-expression of SlERF9 and SlERF81 in tomato” as a Dissertation project under the guidance of Dr. Arun K. Sharma, Associate Professor, Department of Plant Molecular Biology, University of Delhi, South Campus. Ethylene response factors (ERFs) are known to act at the last step of the ethylene-signaling pathway.
