As a principal investigator at Innatoss I am leading a small team to profile the naturally-induced immune response and identify broadly immunogenic T-cell targets in a cohort of individuals infected with Coxiella burnetii during the 2007-2011 Netherlands epidemic. This project is part of the Q-VaxCelerate consortium aiming to develop a novel T-cell based Q fever vaccine with low reactogenicity (led by the Vaccine and Immunotherapie Center at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, US).
