Master's Thesis: Silicon Nanowires Arrays by MACE as the template for Tin Oxide Photonic Crystals gas sensor. Result: I created Silicon nanowires using Metal assisted chemical etching. I filled these nanowires with tin dioxide well known for Carbon dioxide gas sensing material. Impact: Photonics gas sensors have higher sensitivity, faster time response and do not degrade and requires less wiring. The goal is to create Tin dioxide nanohole arrays which act as a photonic crystal gas sensor.

Project: Electrografting of polyacrylic acid with ferric ions on stainless steel for improved adhesion on the model-epoxy resin. Result: Improved the adhesion strength of stainless steel with epoxy resin by 3.5 times using a hybrid coating of polymer and nanostructures. Working areas: • Atomic Force Microscopy on Polymer coated samples (DNA Origami). • Electrochemical Deposition. • Electrochemical Characterization: EIS, CV and LSV. • IR spectroscopy. • Raman Spectroscopy.

My responsibilities during Internship: - Understanding Functional principle of the injection moulding machine and hands-on operation of newer machining methods (CNC, EDM, WEDM) for automobile parts. - Understanding how Moulds with different structural designs were created by newer machining methods for Injection moulding machines to produce Polypropylene based automobile parts. - Supervision of samples and new processes. - Root cause analysis of production problems.

This internship gave me the opportunity to learn with practical experience on: -Dynamics and Kinematics of NISSAN cars frames and components. -Analysing Braking system, Engine, Cooling system, Exhaust system and Suspension system by assembling and disassembling them.
