Dr. Anna-Maria Wild

In October 2020 I continued working at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems as a research scientist within the Central Scientific Facility (CSF) Medical Systems. Here, my main focus is the scientific service related to preclinical imaging, medical instrumentation, in vitro and in vivo testing and validation of small-scale medical robotic systems.

In January 2018, I joined the Physical Intelligence Department at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart working on magnetic microrobots for the theranostics of diseases in the field of oncology and infectious or inflammatory diseases. My work is focused on the specific diagnosis of diseases followed by a personalized therapy tailored to the patient's needs using magnetic microsystems.

In meiner Doktorarbeit beschäftige ich mich mit der Molekularen Bildgebung von Infektionskrankheiten. Hierbei liegt mein Forschungsschwerpunkt auf der Entwicklung und Erprobung neuartiger Tracer für die Diagnostik und Therapiekontrolle bei Erkrankungen, wie der Alveolären Echinococcose, der Invasiven Aspergillose und der Yersiniose. Weiterhin beschäftige ich mich auch mit der PET und MRT-Bildgebung in onkologischen Fragestellungen.
