I was studying nitrogen fixing root nodule symbiosis, from a bacterial angle. I studied genes of Sinorhizobium fredii and their influence on symbiosis with soy bean and cowpea I was also interested EmrAB efflux system of Sinorhizobium meliloti and it's influence on the symbiotic interaction with lucerne (Medicago sativa).
