I manage the Business Management team for the site, including MIS, vendor management, oversight for the people and financial aspects of technology and change, oversight of testing of all projects, oversight of market & regulatory change (including Solvency II projects), PMO functions and change administration.

Programme managing the initiation of the strategic project for the site.

Managing the projects team looking after all project delivery for the site, including client projects, technology upgrades, market & regulatory projects and internal efficiency projects.

Oversight of the controls across the Operations teams, managing a team performing quality assurance testing and proactively engaging to design and implement new controls.

Managing the sales and delivery of Finance consulting in the Cape Town area, including key insurance and consumer goods companies. Active member of the global team developing financial transformation and shared services methodologies. Global trainer for finance transformation and shared services, having delivered a number of training courses in South Africa and Europe.

My main project over this period was to design and implement an IT control framework for Sarbanes Oxley compliance for a major global brewer. I also led the IT external audits of a global airline as well as global oil company, assessing both their IT controls for the purposes of financial audit and the design of the their controls for Sarbanes Oxley purposes.
