During this time I worked as a Senior Project Manager in Hungary and then the USA. I completed two projects for a Bovis Lend Lease Corporate Client, both of which were deemed a sucess. I was responsible for the complete management of these major projects, from pre-construction phase through to site set-up, contractor procurement, site management, commissioning and Client handover.

Building Coordinator responsible for the civil, structural and architectural works in one of four buildings on site. This was a 65000 sq ft facility which included both laboratories and clean rooms, as well as general changing rooms, restaurant and reception areas and also office areas. This involved:  Managing the on-site construction of the building from ground to roof, inclusive of internal fit-out.  Managing all associated external works associated with the building, inclusive of all utility under

General Contractor on a retail & residential development. Here, I was responsible for the overall management of 21 ‘work packages’, including 48000 sq ft of stone/glazed cladding, block work (130,000), 27 lifts, 200 doors and windows, 127 pre-cast stairs, as well as the external works & the entire internal fit-out of the mall area. This specifically included:  Scheduling each ‘works package’ in line with the master schedule.  Procurement of sub-contractors and materials.  General design development,

During this period I worked for Bovis Lend Lease in three countries, The United Kingdom, The Czech Republic and Ireland. I worked in various sectors, including retail, commercial/office, pharmaceutical and residential developments. My roles and responsibilities were diverse, challanging and always very rewarding.

Having secured the first ever British Council Study scholarship for the department, I traveled across China to conduct a detailed risk assessment of the increasing use of Privately Financed Concession Contract projects. Having completed this tour, I submitted and obtained a first class dissertation.
