As a small production company in Boston’s South End producing mainly television shows and corporate video, I had many responsibilities including, directing, shooting video on location, editing, script conception and writing, motion graphics, press release writing and business development.

During my years at Darren Johnson Productions, my primary responsibilities included video content production, designing events, design scenery for events and project managing the construction and installation of realized scenery. In 2014, as a freelancer, I produced four three-hour long films for an event for Wells Fargo Bank that happened at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami. Since 2006 I have worked as a freelance content producer and production designer.

As lead production artist I was responsible for fulfilling all things scenic art. That included: designing, painting, scheduling, managing artists and recruiting artists. Reporting directly to the production manager and the production designer our projects included Nickelodeon Brand TV shows (set construction), the Nickelodeon theme park attraction and live events.

As lead production artist I was responsible for fulfilling all things scenic art. That included; designing, painting, scheduling, managing sometimes 30 artists, interacting with vendors and clients alike, while keeping the project managers happy. Our projects included entire theme park attractions, TV commercials, TV shows, movie and huge events like the Super bowl halftime show.
