Arno Schwarz

Responsible for a team of experts to develop system technologies for hybrid and electrical vehicles to provide our customers with propulsion technologies that meet future requirements. We monitor changes in legislation, trends and technologies for mobility and use state of the art methodologies to identify and demonstrate system solutions. The main focus of my department is the American and Chinese market for vehicle systems and globally for engine systems.

In charge for our R&D center in Kirchheimbolanden and functionally responsible for our Passenger Car application engineering organizations globally. We provide support, oversight and collaborate with our local application engineering organizations in America, Europe and Asia on selected programs. We develop strategies and technologies helping our customers to meet future legislations and requirements. We have founded a new engineering facility in Poland to expand our organization and technical capabilities.

General Manager for our R&D center. We are in charge for advanced and product development of turbochargers that meet current and future CO2 and emission requirements in every market globally. With our simultaneously development methods we are able to meet stringent time to market needs. We use all known CAD, FEM and fluid software to validate the functionality before it's finally tested on one of our engines beds, turbocharger test stand or in a vehicle.
