Ran a research lab, actively published. Developed a computational solution for spatial navigation in small animals, based on unsupervised and reinforcement learning in self-organized echo state networks. Using network and graph analysis, showed that this model explains previously puzzling biological imaging data. Regularly engaged as a public speaker, workshop facilitator. Developed 12 courses, including hand-on boot-camp in Statistics, Computational Neuroscience, Biological Modeling.

Collected complex multivariate datasets, and used them to show how neural networks in the brain are tuned in learning and development. With a combination of signal processing, feature engineering, and innovative visualizations, discovered several novel phenomena that link developmental neuroscience to the math of machine learning. Created and popularized a panel of behavioral protocols to assess brain development in small animals through their behavior in virtual environments.

Lead predictive warehousing and transportation capacity planning for the Eastern Europe market. Combined SAP actuals with sales predictions to model product flows for mid- and long-term optimization of EE logistic networks. Secured savings of 1.5 $MM/Y in logistics costs by leading several projects, both strategic and operational. Received P&G Platinum Shares Award (top 3% employees) "for outstanding business success, leadership, and analytical skills".

Developed a business automation system (PHP+mySQL), with end-to-end order tracking, internal accounting, semi-automated contractor skill ranking, and document assembly. Used this system to support a smooth workflow for hundreds of contractors and clients, and grow the business twofold.

Used fluctuation and wavelet analyses to reconstruct discrete transitions from a noisy electrophysiological signal. Implemented a database interface (SQL) for a Matlab-based fMRI data processing environment for the VISTA lab, Stanford University.
