Kyub is a software that allows you to create 3D models that are designed to be fabricated on a laser cutter. By combining the ease of use of a web-based and inutitive 3D editor together with the speed of laser cutting, kyubs allows for short design cycles and rapid prototyping - pushing the limit of what can be built with a laser cutter. Tech stack: TypeScript. Vue.js and three.js for frontend, Express.js and MongoDB for backend. Performance critical parts are written in C++.

I select the technologies so that the job is done efficiently and future-proof. Recent projects have been implemented using state of the art web technologies (Typescript, Vue, Express, MongoDB, Docker, Microservices, …) and 3D (three.js), but I have also been working with Android and SQL-based backends.

Working within the User Experience and Design area at SAP, I was a software developer intern in the architecture team, where I developed and evaluated multiple proof of concepts and technical evaluations in the area of continuous deployment as well as scalable and fault-tolerant cloud deployment - using like Docker, Apache Mesos & Marathon, Consul, Weave and others. Besides the technical work, I organized the SAP InnoJam Ireland 2016, a hackathon for college/university students across Ireland.
