Responsibility for technology strategy, product development and life cycle activities for gas sensors and systems for alcohol measurement. Team management with focus on development of individual and team competencies, introduction of new technologies, improvement of processes and tools. Tasks include budget planning and controlling, development of product and technology roadmap, multi project management, externalization of product development and establishment of research cooperations.

Responsibility for technology strategy, product development and life cycle activities for sensors used to detect the concentration of explosive gases or leaks of any kind of gas. Team management with focus on development of individual and team competencies, introduction of new technologies, improvement of processes and tools.

Support of Head of System Department Blade in department management, strategy development, budget planning and controlling in addition to team management (see below)

Formation of team and development of functional systems for rotor blades. Creation of two new product lines - an anti-icing system and a condition monitoring system - for improvement of availability of wind turbines. Tasks include team leadership, project management, coordination of technology cooperations, contract negotiations and presentation of products on international conferences and fairs.

R&D coordinator in company-wide task force about serial damages - root cause analysis, field data evaluation, implementation of technical solutions.

Operation of teaching laboratories of Physics and Physical Chemistry including staff management, grading, teaching concept, experimental procedures and methodical lectures.

Coordination of installation of the worldwide network BREDOM for detection of atmospheric trace gases (Bremian DOAS Network for atmospheric Measurement, DOAS = Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy)

One-year operation of air chemistry laboratory at Neumayer Base in Antarctica as part of wintering over team

Gas phase analysis using optical methods and mass spectrometry, Development of reactor for chemical vapor deposition

Gas phase analysis of flames for chemical vapor deposition of diamond (laser spectroscopy, mass spectrometry)

Dynamic light scattering in flames for investigation of soot formation mechanism
