Axel von Arnim

In strong collaboration with the EPFL, I work at fortiss (TUM) as a software architect and Scrum master. I participated, in a team of architects, in the specification of the neurorobotics software platform and the steering of the external consortium of developers. My role in the project is broad, from development and architecture to steering and scrum-mastering. The assets of this position are the wide range of modern software development technologies used and the international scope of the team.

Frewitt printing is a spin-off company of the Frewitt group, developing production machines for the pharmaceutical packaging industry, around a innovative on-glass laser marking solution. My role is to take the responsibility of the R&D and technical IT. My domain of expertise here is image processing, automation, C++, iPhone development.

I've been working the last 7 years at LIVIC, a research lab belonging to LCPC and working on intelligent transport systems (ITS). My main interests at LIVIC are focused on cooperatives sensors, vehicle-to-infrastructure communications, and wireless sensor networks. Co-manager of the RtD Cooperative Systems team at LIVIC. Manager on behalf of LIVIC in the TRACKSS European project www.trackss.net. Communication: 2 patents, scientific papers and presentations, TV interviews.

I was the Fudaa project manager (distributed graphic interfaces and data analysis tools for CETMEF's hydrologic software programs) (10 engineers) I was co-founder of the projet, developer and finally project manager. Creation and development of a road-detecting software on airplane images, in an urban environment. This software helps to automate the construction of the great Topographic Database of the IGN.
