As the lead designer on R&D, I introduced UX methodologies, design processes and tools. I encouraged collaboration among the team and mentored a junior UX designer (including regular design reviews and feedback sessions).

We introduced a process for user research and regular usability testing. The obtained insights enhanced the customer focus within the whole company. In collaboration with development, we defined a new design language and system for all shops/brands containing reusable front-end components (we relaunched xxxlutz.at in 2019). From 2020 – 2021, I was the leading UX designer for the inform slice, helping customers find inspiration and get quickly informed about products, categories and the shop itself.

I was responsible for ideating and developing concepts and creating wireframes and UX/UI designs with a focus on the mobile experience. I worked together with clients like Evotec, Flowsports and different realtors from Justimmo (in-house application). I supported the art director with the creation of print materials and helped the team with the maintenance and content management of websites.

I started as a junior graphic designer and began an apprenticeship in media design. During this time, I learned a lot about design, its principles and how to analyse websites, their structure and UX/UI patterns. I've developed a pretty good understanding of typography and layout.

Between 2008 – 2012 I did a lot of (unpaid, non-commercial) projects besides school and work. The projects were mainly done out of fun. Some projects were for a good cause, and others were made for school and university projects of friends. Some of my work even had been part of art exhibitions. At the end of 2012, I realized that what I liked the most about (my) photography was the conceptual, editing and graphic design part. This made me later pursue the path of a designer instead of a photographer.

I worked closely together with my mother and her colleagues. Our goal was to support and help tenants and landlords as well as possible. My tasks included managing and maintaining data and filing/organizing documents. I communicated a lot with clients in the office, via email and phone.
