Responsibility for Supply Chain: forecasting of demand, liaising with Product Supply and stock management, relationship management with outsourced distributors. Ensured that supply chain is in accordance with Good Distribution Practice and local legislation. Headed-up the Pricing function - tasks: internal price approval, price application to the Department of Health, PPRS, tender submission to the Commercial Medicines Unit, commercial deals as well as risk-share and price-volume agreements.

High quality budgets of sales (based on detailed market models) and cost and ensured approval by UK and European management. Reporting of monthly and quarterly performance to Region Europe (Monthly Management Report, Brand P&L, Balanced Scorecard and Risk reporting). Analysis of market, sales and cost development and presentation to the UK management team. Involvement in several cross-functional projects: pricing strategy, outsourcing and off-shoring activities.

Improvement and management of information system comprising weekly and monthly UK sales reports, cost reports per functional area as well as profit and loss reports. Reporting of monthly and quarterly performance to Region Europe. Organisation of budget process with responsibility for cost planning, challenge of sales planning and consolidation and submission of budget to UK management and Region Europe. Off-shoring project for European management reports to Shared Service centre Bangalore.

As UK position

Responsible for 6 Business Areas covering app. 150 countries. Coordination of planning process for entire region: developed guidelines, supported business areas, challenged business plans, consolidated and submitted figures to headquarters. Monthly business and finance reporting, analysis and presentations to management and headquarters. Increased internal control awareness by implementation of self assessment questionnaire and standardisation of financial reviews.

Responsible for budgeting sales and cost for the German Insulin and HRT business. Supervision of and support for the Austrian affiliate as well as consolidation tasks. Monthly and quarterly performance reports to European office and management in Europe Central
