Benedict Seyer

As Chief Data Scientist HR, I shaped and implemented the group’s first strategic HR analytics use cases, developing forecasting models for sickness absence and retention risk to support executive decision-making. I consolidated data from multiple legacy systems, engineered reliable pipelines, advised HR leadership on tools and processes, and co-developed a scalable HR IT architecture and digitalization strategy with C-level collaboration.

At CARIAD, I built the foundation for data-driven HR decision-making by developing the company’s first analytics use cases and a top-level KPI dashboard for the Board. I designed the HR data warehouse, self-service reporting, and middleware for automated dataflows, leading three external teams in agile projects. I also defined HR data models, contributed to scalable IT architecture, co-developed the HR digitalization strategy, and fostered a cross-departmental analytics community.
