Development, deployment and support of cloud native applications on a large scale distributed system using microservices. Secured REST APIs, Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS.

Preparation and deployment of new software releases of the PAYBACK Global Platform for the USA, Mexico, and Italy market. Streamlining of the overall deployment workflow and processes built upon tools such as Jira, Jenkins, and Ansible.

As part of the BioMedBridges project of the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Union (http://www.biomedbridges.eu/), contributed to the development of a security architecture and framework to enable the sharing of data in a secure and privacy preserving manner, across the main biomedical research infrastructures in Europe (see project deliverable 5.3).

As an ontology engineer, co-authored and participated in the full development cycle of 40+ Web ontologies of end-consumer commodity products based on the GoodRelations Web vocabulary for E-Commerce. Co-authored and published 4 research articles, reviewed of 30+ articles in the areas of E-Commerce, Semantic Web and Linked Data technologies. Provided supervision and guidance on research progress to up to 4 doctoral students.

Developed the requirements, design, implementation, and unit test for the Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART) and Watchdog Timer peripherals built into the Motorola radio products XTS2500, XTS5000, and Astro Spectra Plus. Developed the low level software testing application programming interface (API) in conjunction with the hardware and radio frequency (RF) engineering teams for the Motorola CN620 Windows CE (Consumer Electronics) phone.

Participated in the installation and deployment of Hewlett-Packard's Hospital Information System (HP HIS) suite for the Hospital "Virgen de las Nieves" in Granada, Spain. Participated in the full software development life-cycle of the Warehouse and Accounting modules of the HP HIS suite, developing new Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) applications to be integrated into selected HP HIS modules.
