The company provides solutions for noise control in audio applications with a pronounced emphasis on speech signal processing. Being the research director at Exaudio AB means that I am in charge of the research and development/deployment of new products in the company's IP portfolio. At this position I plan, control and carry out a large part of the product development from customer contact/specification (or internal specification) over prototyping, to a finished product.

The conference telephony project is a research project with emphasis on acoustic signal processing for conference telephony and speech enhancement applications. The position as project assistant included implementation of signal processing algorithms and hardware using digital signal processors.

The Distance Laboratory is a research project aiming at the development of methods and material for distance-based learning within electrical engineering. During this position as project assistant, I planned for and developed new soft- and hardware equipment for internet-based electrical measurements.

The business idea of Jobado AB was to provide an internet based job-candidate system. I designed and implemented a candidate selection system Job-Simulator, and planning for the system Jobado, with a particular focus on administration interfaces and security systems.

Development of an Internet-shop for the sales of Baltic Institute publications.

Main responsible for the design and development of an internet business system, an economy management system, and a task, resource, and billing management system.

Development of the multilingual internet business system ProSYS.

Development of new methods for enhancement of human speech signals in noisy environments, and with a particular emphasis on applied methods. All methods were implemented in real-time.

The thesis focuses on improving human communications, noise control and speech enhancement applied to personal protective equipment, vehicle industry, conference telephones, hearing assistive devices, hearing aids, computers etcetera.

Evaluation and implementation of methods for identification and analysis of linear systems with nonlinear elements. The work has focused on systems with multiple degrees of freedom and infinite memory in the nonlinearities.
