On contract for a re-platforming project I was responsible for troubleshooting Murex technical issues on the new platform, setting up, documenting and handing over an updated change process, liaising and coordinating with the Test, Run, BAU and infrastructure teams. Additionally, I wrote a number of scripts to assist with automation on the new platform and to wrap and simplify complex BAU tasks to increase efficiency and reduce risk (of regressions etc) in the normal BAU development process.

In Erste I was responsible for implementing the MXG Team web based Environment Management Solution (EMS), performing the handover to Dev-ops and advising on bespoke developments and on-site integration. I was also responsible developing the MxML formulas for integration of trade data (FX/options) from the Kondor/Calypso systems to the (new) Murex system, and designing/developing a modular and reusable XSLT template hierarchy for use with other products as they were implemented.

My duties at Volksbank were to unify the DEV/TEST environment script base and produce a version/release model using SVN. To encourage a robust SDLC, I created a pseudo-packaging system (in BASH) to control and automate the rollout processes. I also wrote a number of [standard] utilities/libraries to start/stop/query Murex services, management environment configs, integrate with monitoring systems (Nagios) and automation business functionality (MxML Exchange workflows and Processing Scripts).
