Current: molecular pathology diagnostics, especially data analysis. I also collaborate to next generation sequencing projects, both in improvement of protocols and data analysis., and supervise student internships.

My main project concerned the mechanisms of cell cycle regulation by 14-3-3-sigma, in vitro and on a mouse knock-out model. I also collaborated to a number of other projects, mainly for chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), and to the development of a mouse knock-out construct for miR34a.

Collaboration to projects concerning the induction of apoptosis by the ARF and CHK2; An adenoviral system was used to induce gene overexpression (S2 safety level).

I worked on a project concerning the regulation of the cell cycle in lymphocytes. The model system we used were CD4+ T cells of wild type and p27Kip1 knock-out mice. An important part of this study concerned the in vivo response to the bacterial superantigen SEB in these strains of mice.

Maintenance of a database of leasing contracts; customer contact.

Research work within a project on apoptosis and genomic instabilty in cell culture; training new students.

Organizing the day to day functioning of a number of TEMPUS en ERASMUS; assitance in organisation of meetings.
