The main objective of this pilot project was to integrate production equipments in the Traceability System via a DIO acquisition board to achieve the communication between the production equipment and the traceability server. Project phases: designing and implementing the DIO acquisition board (OrCAD tool), programming the PIC18F4455 micro-controller, the DIO acquisition board testing software, the traceability application and creating an easy to use GUI (LabWindows/CVI tool).

The Internship Program was a collaboration between the Quality department and the Chassis Power-train department dedicated to generate a FMEA analysis for reviewing as many components, assemblies and subsystems as possible to identify the failure modes and their causes and effects, for the products manufactured in this segment.

The KANBAN project was a Six Sigma project conceived to improve the supply of materials from the Warehouse to the production area using the DMAIC methodology. The statistical modeling of the manufacturing process was achieved by means of the Seven Basic Tools of Quality ( i.e. Pareto charts, cause-and-effect diagrams, check sheets, control charts, histograms, flow charts etc).
