I have worked as an Graphic Designer / Print Executive / Advanced Repro Specialist for Xerox Global Services b.v., The Netherlands. It was my task to set up 3 XGS locations from scratch and make these locations profitable. A big part of my task was to optimise customer satisfaction and create the possibility to extend printing contracts with The University of Twente. As a solution I optimized customer contacts and have given professional advice on graphic products and the graphics market.

I managed, programmed and designed interactive applications for other freelancers. On occasion it gives me a great pleasure to serve as an Host, Bar Tender or Catering assistant. I worked for the Four stars Hampshire Hotel, Maison van den Boer, Wentink Events and Oseven. It was my pleasure to represent the company and give the customer an enjoyable time they never forget. My work consisted of maintaining customer contacts, preparation of bars, buffets, restaurants and workplaces. Serving dishes and drinks at the table or beer taps also belong to my tasks.

I managed, programmed and designed interactive applications for students in Secondary Vocational Education, in order to give them a better insight about choices about their future occupations. I wrote, and planned the project time and costs. Designed UML charts, functional designs and interactive animations. I have set up CVS workflows between multiple workers. Other tasks were programming of patterns, encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism in classes to handle displaying media.

I worked as a Print Executive for Océ, The Netherlands, with the main task to create a working enviroment in which the employee can work more efficiently and faster. I organized the production process, and operated copying machinery, provided consumables and execute maintenance activities. I have optimized customer contacts, given advice about paper, toner. I printed a myriad of black/white and colourplots. Created an order administration.

I worked as a Sound Engineer for E-sound productions to get more knowledge of and experience in recording techniques. I recorded audio for the cd-single “weer of geen weer” for weatherman Piet Paulusma of broadcaster SBS6, and mastered the first full-length album Souvenirs of the Dutch rockband The Gathering. I learned the theory of sound and how to set up, and operate equipment to record and mixdown a studio session.

I started cabinet making with apprenticeship for Ter Steege, The Netherlands. Ter Steege is the leading manufacturer of first-rate, high quality stands and interiors in the east of Holland. I have worked with professional mechanical machinery, and multiple hand tools to learn how to produce stands, & interiors in order to become Full Cabinet Maker. I learned how to read technical drawings and the using of mathematics, physics and chemistry.
