As Automotive is becoming more and more complex, It's important to provide secure and safe SW and the first way to that is to develop against mature engineering process based on well proven standards/models(ASPice, ISO 26262) It is EPG process architect job to make sure that delivered processes fulfil the expected maturity level starting from requirement elicitation until System testing. Regular SW development assessments need to be performed to check deviations early and implement actions plans to recover.

Quality in the SW Delivery chain is as important as the SW delivery itself, poor quality leading to customer unsatisfaction. Therefore assuring qulity from begining of the project in the early phase allows not only to improve quality but also to reduce cost by discovering failures in early stages. As APQP PM my role was to support the project in the complete lifecycle from RFQ to SOP in all quality matters.
