At Bitpanda I was working on the main investment app called Bitpanda, where we try to create a new dimension in the investment industry. I am directly involved in: - the manual testing of new features, bug fixes, regression/sanity testing, test case creation and more. Tools - for BE testing we use Postman and for running automation scripts we use Webstorm and Cypress - for FE testing we use Chrome, Firefox and Safari for web, Android Studio and Firebase/ App distribution for testing on mobile

I was a promoter of Agile/Scrum practices within the team, aiming to update the workflows accordingly: - help the team on finding the correct sprint length, understand the Scrum events and guided them on practicing this every day - acted as a filter for the team regarding outside requests - manual testing of new features, bug fixes - 3rd line support - interim PO: organising the backlog, prioritising the tasks, making sure the project keeps going, creating documentation/SOP when needed, point of contact

- Testing of new features, bugs found in production or found by the team. - Constantly looking for ways to improve the application and documenting them with JIRA tickets. - Agile: daily stand-ups, grooming sessions, planning - Using both manual and automation testing (about 70%/30%) in my day to day tasks with the help of the following technologies/tools: JIRA, Jenkins, Selenium Webdriver with JAVA, GitLab, Testrails.

My day to day work includes: - interrogating SQL databases - creating Automation Tests with Selenium and Java - creating the Automation Framework - develop test specifications for low, medium and complex functionalities - test the old and new product features with regards to requirements - using TFS from Microsoft as a project management tool - provide critical feedback to both software engineers and product management to improve new features and capabilities within the product

- Involved in creating (using Office Suite, Google Docs and Silk): System Test Specifications (STS), System Test Estimates (STE) - I did some reviews on test specifications written by other colleagues - Familiar with: test case execution, test results analysis, test case tracking and reporting (using ASSET and Silk Central Test Manager) - I worked on various test systems: SUN, AIX, NSK - Automation using Vilicus/Option tool (developed by ACI) - Familiar with SalesForce (Bug Tracking)

- Taking preventive action of major network faults and customer faults - Utilizing GNOC systems and procedures to maintain and monitor customer network availability & integrity - Working and basic/medium troubleshooting on transmission : SDH, Nokia, NEC and Ericsson - Ensure network faults are resolved well within agreed SLA’s (Service Level Agrements) - Network-performance monitoring - Coordination with multiple teams for the purpose of solving the issues efficiently

- OOP basics - Java basics - Exceptions - Concurrency - Intro to Databases and JDBC (using MySQL) - Applied the developed skills to implement a small WEB application - Basic Maven concepts were also learned in the process - Homework and the final project were tested using JUnit
