Responsible for commercialization of new product family of fluoropolymer and high-performance films for Solar (Photo-Voltaic), Aerospace, and Transportation markets. Materials included FEP, PFA, MFA, THV, ETFE, PVDF, ECTFE, PEI, and PMP.

Responsible for manufacturing operation that included specialty fluoropolymer films extrusion and co-extrusion, surface treatment and converting, and PTFE membranes manufacturing. Responsible for production planning, profitability, safety, quality, hiring & training. Developed and specified equipment upgrade/modifications, capital appropriations for new equipment, systematic quality improvement. Provided tech support to marketing and sales.

Responsible for a diverse family of fluoropolymer and other high performance and specialty film products, including cast extruded, skived, and paste extruded films for aerospace, electronics, and medical applications. Products included PTFE, UHMW, FEP, PFA, MFA, THV, ETFE, PVDF and ECTFE films.

Responsible for development and implementation of new processes including high temperature bonding, autoclave lamination and acrylic monomer casting. Materials included polyurethane, silicone and PVB adhesives and PMMA, polycarbonate and glass substrates. Also provided troubleshooting of existing processes, physical, mechanical and thermal testing of new products

Process development and contamination reduction projects for highly filled PTFE-based composite materials for high density circuit board substrates. Managed a pilot plant and scaled up compounding, paste extrusion and calandering processes.
